Between the years of 1979-1981 they had a 'cobra' modle.
They had wild hood graphics, metric wheels, and an optional 2.3 litre turbo (instead of 5.0l) these cars were available to both US and CND residence.

In 1984 or 1985 to about 1992 all mustang GT's sold in canada were sold as "COBRA". there is nothing different between a US mustang GT and a CND mustang Cobra GT other than a stick that was placed on the hatch.

My '88 was one of these cars. I even have the 1988 broucher to prove it..
