Default 1988 5.0 rear wheel bearings

OK Guys I'm looking for a bit of advice please

I'm changed my front wheel bearings many times but I've never done the back ones. They're starting to get noisy so I want to change them. I think I need to pull the axles - can someone give me some advice as to how to change these rear bearings? Do I need to open the diff to get the axles out? Will I need to take them to a shop to have the bearings pressed on/off? etc?

THanks very much
