Hmm.. nope, that's not the article I was thinking of. The article was a comparison between intakes with both big and small cams for each to show the differences. They use the GT-40 crate motor and Road Demon, but the cam and intakes changed each time.

They used the Performer 289, RPM Air Gap, and Vic Jr only. with a Comp XE268(I think) and the XE292 or something as the small and big cams for each intake. It was a couple page article written in I'd say the last 3 years, near the front of the magazine. I'm pretty sure it was Hot Rod that did it. Sorry for going on like this, I'm hoping someone out there will find it since this is driving me nuts that I can't find it.
