![]() I just installed the Steeda Tri-Ax and I have not experienced the problem that you have. I have the shiffter installed for the shortest throws, and neither I or my wife has any problem reaching it. We use the same seat position that we have always used.
It sounds like the shift handle is installed backwards. The shifter is designed with a bend in it to bend towards the driver. If the handle were installed backwards, then it would bend towards the radio.
