![]() Has anyone out there ever made their own lower control arms?
This might seem like a cheap and stupid idea, but i see no difference in cutting and welding up some 1"x2" 1/8" rectangular tubing for say 20$, or going and spending $200+ on aftermarket. Does anyone have blueprints to make them? The reason I want to do this is because it is pretty hard to make a car with 450ft lbs hook up with 14 year old crusty rubber bushings. The car is a 5 spd and i wouldn't care if i had solid metal bushings in the rear, as long as it hooked.
