![]() Hanging around a shop that specializes in GN's and seeing my fair share of Sy/Ty's, I know what that vehicle has as far as potential. Just a few weeks ago I went to a Sy/Ty/Turbo TA/GN shootout. Although it was an 1/8 mile track I saw plenty of the Sy's in the low 7's and thats enough to take care of the majority of the people on this board. The fastest Ty I saw ran 7.73 and the slowest was an 8.81, so you never know what your going to get.
That being said, there were some open classes for other brands of cars & truck/suvs. A friend brought his 91 coupe down for some 6.6x passes @10x mph. I would still like to have a Typhoon and would most certainly be interested in that Trailblazer if it were avaliable. After all, who else in the SUV market is going to put the new turbo Porsche suv in it's place.
