![]() It does matter which brand clay bar you go with....to an extent. Some cheap brands start to crumble after you use them, some brands aren't easy to bend and fold to expose a clean side, etc. Regardless of the brand, just make sure you use plenty of lubricant like Blake said and use back and forth motions, not circular. If the clay starts to 'stick' when you run it across the paint, you're not using enough lube.
I think the general consensus is the Zaino clay bar is one of the best.
