![]() You need a 351 double sump oil pan (crown vics had'm so maybe you police engine will), You cannot use a 302 distributor or intake. You'll also need headers. Get a low profile intake and you should be able to keep your hood, I did with my carbed 351. My EFI 351 needed a raised hood.
I know the 1969 5.8s were the strongest but after that I think they were all the same. I think.
