Do what dark 5.0 said. Basiclly pull the number one spark plug and turn the motor over by putting a socket wrench on the harmonic balancer bolt and turn the motor over tell you can either feel the piston at top dead center (TDC) or just put your finger over the spark plug hole and feel for the air to come out as the piston goes up. Then you have 0. It sounds like #2 and #6 are not firing. I would check for spark at these two points.
