Default adjustable push rod

Deminsions are not always the same. 351W heads (may have been milled) and blocks (may have been decked) and cams may have different base circles. This means that there is no easy answer for push rod length.

What you should do is get an adjustable push rod and a solid lifter. Put some magic marker on the valve stem and adjust the push rod length until the rocker arm marks only right in the middle of the valve stem when you spin the engine a few times. This means that the valve geometry is correct when the mark is in the middle of the stem.

Of course you will put back what ever lifter type you are going to use. You will need to measure the adjustable push rod and then order a set of the correct length. Install and adjust the valves and that should do it. Hope this all makes sense.

I could just tell you the length I used, but it probably wouldn't be correct for you.
