![]() Im seriously considering doing this but I want to make sure everything will work good together, especially the cam.
The kit I am getting is just a basic Eagle 331, cast crank, forged I beam rods, forged SRP pistons. Compression ratio will be around 9:1 or 9:5.1 as this will be a DD. I am planning on putting the TFS engine kit on it (street TW heads, street intake, stage 1 cam, timing chain, 1.6 RR's, etc) Will this cam work with the 331 setup? specs are Duration @ .050 in. 221 intake/225 exhaust (degrees) Cam Lift: .312 in./.319 in. Valve Lift with 1.6 Rockers: 499 in./.510 in. Lobe Separation: 112 Also could this setup pass smog with the stock catted h pipe? Thanks for all your help.
