I have Sirius, and it's amazing. It's like going to broadband. You'll never want to go back! During the hurricanes here, I was stuck inside listening to FM and the commercials drove me freakin' nuts.
I know a few people with XM and they love it as much as the people (including me) that have Sirius. There's no comparison to FM at all.
I know with Sirius you can go to their website and listen the the streaming audio to get a taste of what channels play what. I listen to it every time I'm on the computer. The quality is not so good over the net, but you'll get the idea. I'm sure XM has the same feature.
