Thumbs down

When I had my 11 second Chevelle, I was really big into the racing scene. All of the guys I used to run, and those than ran quick especially, had some serious transmissions. After grenading a TH350, I bought one from A1 transmissions with a manual valve body and transbrake with a low first gear set. I had no problems with this tranny and I ran it hard-very hard. And that's with a transbrake. I know one guy personally that not only broke a GER tranny, but also broke the replacement they gave him when they honored their warranty. I've heard bad things about their convertors also. Just what I heard, some may have great experiences with them. I don't know if A1 makes Ford AOD's, but look them up. If they do, I would buy one of those if I had an automatic. They're pricey, but from my experience, worth every penny.
