it is the most widely used tuner in the NMRA for a reason. VERY easy to learn, and very user friendly. There are numerous 8 second Renegade cars that use(d) it. I use the EPEC in my car, and it works nicely, but I'm still learning things on it, and it's kind of a pain to fire up the laptop everytime I need to make a change.
You can usually find used PMS's for about $500 or less on the boards, I'm pretty sure there's 1 or 2 for sale as we speak over on the classifieds on stangcrazy.net If you can't tell, I'd definately recommend it for ya! -Drew
