Default Electric fuel pump longevity?

I just bought my 3rd after market electric fuel pump in 60,000 miles over a ten year period. The first was a Mallory 110 gal./hr. and the second was a Holley red 97 gal./hr. I went ahead and bought another Holley red just because I have little faith in Mallory products now. I just wondered what kind of service life to expect from an electric fuel pump. This is a caburetor application set at 7-8 psi. Any responses/opinions appreciated.
