Yep, I have a relay wired BUT I took a short cut and powered my pump relay with the hot wire going to the fan relay instead of running a seperate hot wire from the battery.
I don't know if that makes a difference or not but that's how it's wired now.
Also remember that the fan and pump were only running off of 12v. since the car wasn't running and seeing the full 14.5v.
I also know that while driving, the pump gets quiet the second the fan is turned on. Could the fan be robbing current from the pump because they share the same hot wire?
