Default Re: 351 w swap

SCT is a type of computer tuning you can do. I have a couple speed shops here in town that do it.

Basically, the car is put on a dyno and hooked up to a laptop through a module that is connected to the EEC. As the car is put under load, they can adjust the air fuel mixture to suit each RPM increment.

It is a lengthy process, but well worth it if you want the car running absolutely optimal.

I like the SCT tuning because the people that do it have to actually go to a "school" to become certified to perform it. It is not some module any joe blow can order off the net and say "Hey, I can do custom tunes!".
