first thing first i would re wire the cd player and make sure the illumination light wire is not connected to a power or ground for the lights...thats a big reason why every one has problems like ur having ...if ur not good with wiring then get a diagram and go from there ...then its gonna be tracing wires to find the problems..not hard to do just takes some time....let me know how u make out
