Default Clutch Pedal Broke!????

I was in my '89 5.0 and shifted into 3rd when my foot slammed to the ground and my pedal broke. The pedal is connected to a rod. The rod then connects to a harness that holds all the pedals in place. I Guess something supporting my clutch broke because It fell down as soon as i pressed my clutch in..... I have no idea how to fix this. or even where to start. can anybody help?

I replaced the clutch quadrant and cable so i know it's not that...
