Me personally i love the sound of flowmasters (i've heard them on a 4 cylinder toyota truck and it sounded great). If you run a catalytic converter you might want the 2 chamber for a nice deep tone, or without the cat a 3 chamber to keep the noise level down a bit. The difference a flowmaster makes is almost magical (great sound). That's my experience, i've never heard sonic turbos so i can't comment on that.
