I use the RPM set up in mine, first you dont need to pin or change the studs....I have had no problems with mine. If you are just looking for a performance "improvement" and something to cruise around in, go with the regular Edelbrock setup or something comparable, the RPM is more for racing and is not very happy turning low rpms around town.
