I'm pretty certain the 9" from a Lincoln Versailles is a direct fit for '67 - 70 Mustangs. The Versailles rear is equipped with disc brakes, which is a real bonus.
I've always been disappointed that the Versailles rear end is too wide to use in my '65. However, a buddy of mine found a 9" from a Granada that's just right. It doesn't have disc brakes, though. ------------------ '91 LX Procharger, 3 row intercooler, extrude honed Cobra intake, Mac full Length Headers, 30# inj., 73mm C&L, 75mm tb, E303 cam, 289 rods, ported E7 heads, MSD, T-Rex w/255 lph Walbro, 5 lug conversion, Cobra R wheels, 3.27 gears and Moser Axles. |
