The 64-65 289 should be a 5-bolt motor. 351W won't bolt up to bell housing. I wouldn't buy an engine from Discount. Have had several come in my shop, installed elswear, with problems.

Cost to rebuild???? That is tough!!! Can go from a couple of grand to maybe 6k. Depending on what you want and how fast you want to go. Also, how much you can do yourself.
