When I was at the dragstrip last summer, there was a 67 running a 460. I talked to the guy and he said no shock tower modifications, just custom headers/motor mounts and no sway bar. It was a TIGHT fit though... I think the motor would have to be raised several inches just to change spark plugs on the center 4 cylinders.
