![]() I had sort of the same problem with my '68, coupe, automatic. When I put it into gear it wouldn't shift right away..I would have to let it warm up a bit and then it would catch..Since I don't know anything about tranny problems I took it to a mechanic and he said one of my vacuum lines was damaged. He repaired it and now it works fine. Take my info for what's worth. Good luck.
