I think lowering the minimum weight to 3100-3200 is a great idea. I also agree with the previous response that cleaning up the valve pocket and ports (not porting just polishing out the uneven casting areas) should be legal, just because all the castings are not created perfectly equal. So in response yes I think a few rules changes would be a good thing.
