V-6 Slowmaro Get's Creamed

It's been pretty quiet on the racing front around here lately, I was heading over to Wal Mart with my buddy when this late model Camaro pulls out behind me. It was like 10PM, so it's dark out and the car is deep blue. Hard to tell if it was the Z28 or not at that point. Two guys in it. They got into the next lane and rolled up. We took off when the light turned, briskly next to each other. He jumped on it at about 15mph, so I put it down and bogged a little. Damn 2.73's with 2.95 1st. Anyway, as soon as the engine caught up, I started pulling like mad. By the end of 1st I had him by a car. Hit 2nd and he was 2 cars back almost instantly. I got out of it like 65mph, lol. It was so over. Had to make my turn at the next light. When I slowed down to turn they wouldn't even get beside me.

Guess they really didn't know the 5.0 would smoke em?

Oh well, easy, but altogether enjoyable kill.
