By the way pro88 had good advice, but if you don't have a wheel(buffer) with adjustable speed you should be able to do it by hand as well. It'll just take longer. Don't use a cheap wheel with only two speeds(usually high and higher). Meguiars and 3M make great products for cars and boats. I've used both on both and they work damn well.
