Post cheap 302 buildup please help

I'm 17 and me and my dad just bought a 1979 Maza RX-7. We want to put a 302 in it. We found a 1984 Lincoin Towncar with a 302 and a AOD. I was thinking about a cam, headers, an intake, and GT-40P heads. My main consern is the pistons. Will they hold up or should I break down a rebuild the engine(this engine will not be driven lighty I want to use it to bracket race at the local 1/8 mile strip). If I rebuild it will hyperetitic pistons be OK with N.O.S.(100 hp shot). Does any one know of any cheap forged pistons.
