![]() I'd kinda like to do the following combo to my 87. It'd be cheap to put together, shouldn't kill fuel economy too much, and should remain well within the bounds of SD tunability.
B303, ported GT-40 irons, Cobra intake, roller rockers, adjustable fpr, 155lph, longtubes, shortie H-pipe, cat back, underdrives, cold air, timing, 3.73's, electric fan. With tuning on your adustable fpr that combo should remain very good with the SD stuff. Should be good for low 13's no problems too, better if you hook real well. Just make sure your car is in tune before you start messing with mods. 88workcar is running low 12's with an E303 cam and Edelbrock heads on SD, but he spent tons of time tuning. Course, then again, I'd rather just throw a supercharger onto my car, it'd wind up being just as cheap, better on gas, and easier to gain the power. |
