![]() Use a lift if possible; if not, use good jackstands. Buy quality parts; I recommend replacing the flywheel; a stock iron one is only about $100. and you'll avoid problems later (steel is about $225). Replace the throwout bearing as well as the pilot bearing. Worth the cost for peace of mind.
Use a torque wrench (you can rent them) and follow the manual specs for torque and sequence on them. Basically, follow the 'book' and don't rush or work when you're tired or distracted, as a mistake might ruin expensive parts and have you tearing the whole thing down again a few days later.
