This topic recently came up, abeit much more aggressively by the late member imouer.

It basically came down to, if you don't like it, go somewhere else.

I've found the Mustangworks to be one of the most user friendly sites on the net, and I've posted here more than 1500 times, so for me to just up and leave wouldn't be worth it at all regardless of what information is modified, as long as the actual opinion, tech information, and idea of the post remains untouched.

My personal opinion is things get edited too much, but it's not like there aren't worse things in my daily life.

Hehe, maybe it could even get you out of a hot spot sometime, "I never said that, the moderators messed with my post!"
