For those who may not know, Delta P as 97snakedriver is refering to means differential pressure. In the case of an muffler, the difference in pressure at points before the muffler and after the muffler. This pressure drop is directly proportional to the resistance to flow, or restriction, of the muff. Works just like electricity and hydraulics.
