Most people modify the exhaust first. Its usually all bolt-on stuff and is pretty easy. You gain power, gas mileage, and best of all the sound. While its best to do headers on back, a cat back sytem is a good start. If you change tailpipes, invest in stainless steel. If you don't you will eventually wish that you did.
For mufflers I think that Borla and Magnflow flow the best. Flowmaster 2 chamber is the loudest and in my opinion sounds the best Most people would agree a set of gears for the rear end would yeild more performance than most bolt-on upgrades. |
