A transmission flush is a good idea. How much do you want to spend? Around here, a flush runs about $150 at a reputable independent shop.

Personally, I don't trust the quick-lube places, AAMCO, Cottman, Jiffy-Lube, etc.

Do it yourself for the cost of trans fluid ($1.00-1.25 qt.) a couple of gasket and a filter kits,($5.00 ea).
