![]() 440rwhp equates to 530hp at the crank. That's the equivelent of 460hp at the crank for a 302. In other words, that is a race engine. No special stuff isn't getting a N/A 347 anywhere NEAR 440rwhp.
To give you an idea, the Dart heads and a TFS intake would be very hard pressed to get an N/A 302 to 375hp/310rwhp in street car form. I don't care who tuned it. They are full of **** if it's a street engine without SERIOUS work to it. Getting another 100hp out of that engine would require yates heads, 12:1 compression, a radical cam and about 8000rpm+. |
