The driving force behind the mass air cars was the need for better emmissions, and that why CA got them first.

I replaced the inner fender on my 93 with one from an 88' and it fit with no problems. You can see the difference in wheel well sizes if you looked at the two inner fenders closely and compared them. its not much, but there is a difference. I dont think the GT trim pieces had anything to do with it?
