![]() I believe the small metal sleeve is used for installing the new quandrant. When you climb under the dash to remove the two clips for factory clutch adjustment, and when you install the new quandrant there will be a gap between the quadrant and the clip on the one located at the top closest to the firewall. I believe you put the quandrant->sleeve->clip back on.
