Um, the 98 GS400 did have 300 hp and 310 lb-ft.
http://www.edmunds.com/used/1998/lex...tml?id=lin0066 I'm sorry, but this car could beat a stock 99-up auto GT on the highway. You can't make up for the hp with simple bolt-ons when racing from a highway roll with 40 less hp. The car was heavy so you can get out in front off of the line, but from a highway roll, you will not catch one.
