![]() Whatever you do, only use a Ford Motorcraft PCV valve. The aftermarket ones do not fit tight enough in the grommet and TONS of oil will dump out. It's in a real stupid area as it vents into the lifter galley which has alot more oil spraying around than on the valve covers. But ya gotta live with it. Also when I replaced the PCV I got a new grommet, but that was not as tight to the manifold as the old one was. I ended up putting some black silicone on it to seal better, ( on the side that seals to the intake, not the valve, also dont get any into the screeen below.) now nice and dry ! Some also replace the lower screen as well.
This is much more of a project than it should be
