I don't have a dishwasher because the condo I bought didn't come with one and I don't think it's worth the expense of not only a new dishwasher but the electrical and plumbing work I would have to have done. Someday, maybe, but it's not a priority for me. I wash dishes as soon as I dirty them so I never have a lot to do.

Shop around for your new appliances and get the best deal but don't buy 'no-name' brands unless you know who made it.

In the case of 'ROPER' appliances, they are made by Whirlpool so they should be fine.
