gtsr515 why do you say to be careful with 1.7's and the B cam? Idle problems or what?

Lift with 1.7's and the B cam comes out to be only .510" which is fine on even a stock HO motor. So theres no reason to be concerned about too much lift, if thats what you are suggesting.

I even know some guys that have used 1.7's with the E cam on the stock pistons. Lift there was .529", they probably cut it real close but it still worked fine.
