PKRWUD, you are correct. I looked the balancer over again this morning and it is the rubber that is holding the 2 pieces together that is in bad shape. When i removed it yesterday, i just quick glanced it over , thats why i thought it was just a seal of sorts.
thanks to everybody for the help.Once again the members of this site come thru in a time of need.
