![]() Yeah, the B&M remote filter kit is only $25. Plumb it in between the tranny and the cooler (I put mine on the right side frame rail by where the charcoal cannister goes). That way if the tranny breaks, the contaminants are filtered out before they get to the pump in the converter. The filter is also a great way to extend the life of the tranny to begin with. The regular filter in the pan only catches the big stuff, the remote filter unit catches stuff down to 10 microns...and it uses a standard FL-1A filter to boot.
