If you're planning on going low-11's, I think you're going to have to start looking at more stout clutches than the King Cobra. I'd really recommend that you step up to a 11 inch long-style pressure plate to begin with. This will mean a change to a 164 tooth flywheel, but at that HP its well worth it. I ran the Ram 900 series sintered iron clutch last year. It was a nice clutch, but on the aggressive side for everyday driving. For a car that sees mostly street miles with mild strip duty, I think I'd recommend the following:

164-tooth aluminum flywheel
11-inch long-style pressure plate (non adjustable)
Centerforce dual-friction disk

Remember that at 11.99, you need to be SFI certified for bellhousing, flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disk. There's not many SFI certified diaphram style pressure plates out there. Beside, the long-style will give tons more clamping force with less pedal effort.

Some companies to check out are Ram, Hayes (yuk), Spec, McCleod, and Star. The Zoom and Centerforce disks won't be SFI certified. Make sure you discuss this with the tech people when you're selecting your parts.
