The only 305 Camaro's you have to even worry about are the 90 and 91 5 speed TPI with the 1LE option. Those pushed out 230 hp and ran mid to low 14's ( I saw a autoweek get a 13.9 from one can you say Ringer!)
Those cars slow down plenty over time, go smoke his but at the track. I smoked a Firebird Formula with a 305/Auto even with NOS!! And I only ran a 15.0 ( it was my 3rd pass ever with my new 91 LX) I eventually ran a 14.89 stone stock and beat a Nova that ran a 14.6 cus I smoked him at the light!
