![]() Get an EEC tuner before getting all that custom burned for your application chip stuff. The EEC tuner will allow you to alter your settings when you want to, and it is tuneable.
As far as the stock 73mm MAF on the Cobra, I haven't heard of problems with it's calibrations. To my understanding the MAF is calibrated for 19lb/hr injectors, and the computer itself is setup for 24lb/hr units. Going to the new C&L 76mm MAF and an EEC tuner will more than likely give you a hefty performance increase, but I just can't say for sure whether its the computer calibrated for 24's or the MAF, but from what I've heard, it's the computer. BTW. The weak fuel/timing curves aren't the real reason I think the Cobra's computer is so weak. It's the 7sec delay going into open loop. Everything that can be bad about it, is. You have the potential to unlock 20hp+ easy and a few tenths from your 1/4 mile just by changing the computer system. |
