I am not sure how much horsepower I have right now because I have never had the chance to dyno it, but I think that around 300 hp would be enough for me. With the transmission, the thing I am looking for the most is reliability and dependability, since this car will be my only car for at least the next 5 years, so I don't want to sacrifice tomorrow for today at all, although I would like to get the most performance possible out of my next transmission without giving up its dependability. It sounds like the toploader is the way I should go. Do you have any estimated prices on these transmissions, or at least how they measure up to each other?

With the rear end, I will have to learn better about what you are talking about, since I am not really familiar with the specs of differentials in regards to gears and everything.
