Novas usually are fast cause of there weight. A guy named Gary Hollifield that I know has a Nova that ways about 2500 lbs and runs a 12.6 @110 @3000ft with a mildly built 327 with good gearing and an auto with a 5000 stall. So in other words this guy would probably beat SKYMAN motor to motor @sealevel. There is a reason why nearly ever Nova ever made is now a drag car. They are light and a Chevy V8 drops right in there. Many, Many a 10 second Nova over here. Skymans car is sweet and really fast but please dont think a 12.54 is invincable. IMO, blanket statements are always stupid.
