I think they only come in 2 1/2 and larger, meineke muffler sells them .. didnt have anything in a 2 1/4 when I looked

Yes they do. I looked them up last weekend. I think its part # 42443 or 43443. Summit has them at $59 each. Its a lot cheaper than buying the whole 2 1/2 inch system.
